Interstate 5 Rear-End Collision Injures 48-Year-Old Winlock Man [Lewis County, WA]

WSP Searching Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-5

Lewis County, WA (September 14, 2022) On Tuesday evening, a rear-end collision on Interstate 5 sent a 48-year-old man from Winlock to the hospital.

Washington State Patrol says that the hit-and-run crash happened around 9:50 p.m. northbound I-5 near milepost 66.

Reports say that a vehicle struck the back of a a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, the impact caused the Chevy to crash into a barrier and rollover then ended up in the left lane on its top.

Meanwhile, the driver in the suspect vehicle fled teh scene without stopping. Officials are searching for the suspect, authorities have not released a description for the suspect driver and vehicle.

Paramedics transported the injured driver to Centralia Providence with unknown injuries.
