San Diego, CA (September 23, 2022) On Thursday morning, a deadly collision on Interstate 5 claimed the life of a 23-year-old man.

According to the California Highway Patrol that a Kia SUV fatally struck the pedestrian around 6 a.m. near West Hawthorn Street.

Reports say that paramedics transported the patient to a hospital, but the victim succumbed to his injuries, and doctors pronounced him dead.
