Male Pedestrian Dies in Traffic Crash on Clinton Keith Road
Murrieta, CA (February 8, 2023) – On Tuesday morning a deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 215 claimed the life of a man.
CHP says that the fatal traffic crash happened at the Clinton Keith Road entrance to southbound I-215 at around 3 a.m.
Reports say that a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup fatally struck a man laying down at the on-ramp.
Officials say that a 37-year-old Murrieta man driving the pickup was not able to avoid the man and ran the pedestrian over.
Afterward, the Murrieta driver stopped at a shoulder and dialled 911. Murrieta Fire & Rescue responded to the pedestrian accident.
Medical personnels pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the deadly traffic crash and have not released further information at this time.
