Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle DUI Crash near Indian School Road

Phoenix, AZ (March 4, 2023) – On Friday evening, a woman died and 2 others were injured after the Interstate 17 4-vehicle collision.

According to the authorities, the multi-vehicle DUI crash happened at about 10 p.m. on I-17 northbound between Thomas and Indian School roads.

The Acura rdriver ear-ended a Kia which trapped the Acura’s female driver inside the wreck.

Officers stated that the woman did at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Acura sustained non-life-threatening injuries, medics transported them to a hospital. A 3rd driver also suffered minor injuries.

DPS says that speed and impairment are factors in the multi-vehicle DUI crash.
