Interstate 15 Rear-End Collision Injures Three People [Cajon Pass, CA]

Person Hospitalized in Sedan-Truck Collision Near Kenwood Avenue Exit

Cajon Pass, CA (January 21, 2023) – On Thursday, three people sustained injuries following an Interstate 15 rear-end collision.

The authorities received the collision report at about 3:02 p.m. on southbound freeway about a mile and a half before Kenwood Avenue exit.

Reports said a speeding white sedan rear-ended a large box truck causing the box truck to overturned. The truck then spilled fuel over multiple lanes.

Apparently, the white sedan was driving reckless prior to the collision.

A ground ambulance took patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center with major injuries. Also, two other people involved sustained minor to moderate injures and were not hospitalized.

The California Highway Patrol Inland Office is investigating the sedan-truck collision near Kenwood Avenue exit.
