Interstate 15 Pedestrian Crash Results in Fatality [Cajon Pass, CA]

(November 4, 2022) On Thursday morning, a deadly pedestrian crash on interstate 15 claimed the life of a pedestrian.

CHP says that the fatal collision happened after the Outlet Center Driver exit at about 12:22 a.m.

Reports say that a motorists fatally struck the pedestrian walking in the slow lane on northbound I-15.

Officials found the pedestrian unresponsive in the #3 lane. Despite life saving efforts the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and officials pronounced them dead at the scene.

Moreover, authorities say that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officials say that they suspect other vehicles may have struck the pedestrian.

CHP is investigating the pedestrian crash and have not released further information about the crash.
