Injury Sustained in Car Crash on Highway 67 [Lakeside, CA]

One Hospitalized in Lakeside Collision

 
LAKESIDE, CA (December 31, 2018) – One person was injured in a two-car crash on Highway 67, Monday morning around 5:00 AM near Willow Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved in the collision. The cause of the incident is currently unknown, as the investigation is ongoing.
 
First responders arrived at the scene of the accident and extricated one person from their vehicle. The victim was transferred to Sharp Hospital for treatment and evaluation. The status of the victim’s current medical condition is unclear at this time.
 
There has been no further information released regarding the circumstance leading up to the incident at this times. It is unknown if alcohol and drugs were contributing factors in the accident.
