2 Injured in Olympia Single-Vehicle Collision
OLYMPIA, WA (July 23, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a single-vehicle collision on Delphi Road on July 21.
The Olympia police revealed that before 2:00 a.m., the westbound BMW traveled on Mud Bay Road at 110 miles per hour. The vehicle then veered on to Delphi Road and crashed in the 1700 block.
Responders airlifted a 24-year-old Thurston County man to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries. After that, the man sustained partial amputations of both arms, Sgt. Dave Odegaard revealed.
In addition, responders transported his 20-year-old female passenger to Providence St. Peter Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities did not share many details. In addition, police did not release any additional information regarding the accident at this time.
