Two Vehicles Involved in Rollover Collision near Biggs East Highway
BIGGS, CA (February 25, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a two-car crash on southbound Highway 99, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:02 AM. In addition, the accident was reported near Biggs East Highway. Based on an initial report, silver Toyota Yaris and a black Dodge RAM were involved.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles. As a result, the paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by the victim.
The southbound lanes were closed while a clearing operation was conducted in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. Additional information will be released once available as it is still under investigation.
