Injuries Sustained in SUV Crash on 80 Freeway [San Francisco, CA]

All Lanes Closed after Two Vehicles Collide near 4th Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 3, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in an SUV crash on eastbound 80 Freeway, Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:49 PM, just east of 4th Street. Based on their report, the involved were an SUV and a sedan. It was not clear in what manner the incident happened.
 
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were injuries due to impact. Fortunately, the victims’ conditions were said to be non-life-threatening.
 
All lanes were initially closed while rescue and clearing took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
