Injuries Reported in Spanaway Car Accident

 
SPANAWAY, WA (April 8, 2019) – An unknown number of people suffered injuries in a collision involving a semi-truck on Spanaway Loop Road South on April 5.
 
“Innocent victims here, now their life is turned upside down today, because they woke up to a semi-truck making a drive throughout of their house,” said Det. Sgt. Gary Sanders, spokesperson for the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
 
A pickup truck traveling south on Spanaway Loop Road around 3:00 a.m. crossed the center line. As a result, the truck hit a northbound semi-truck. The semi then crashed across the yard and through the house.
 
Furthermore, the pickup also hit another vehicle traveling behind the semi. Meanwhile, Sanders revealed that the pickup’s driver suffered from impairment.
 
The collision left an unknown number of people with injuries.
