Vehicle Overturns in Rollover Collision on 80 Freeway near Macdonald Avenue

 
RICHMOND, CA (June 3, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a rollover crash on westbound 80 Freeway, Monday morning.
 
According to reports, the collision took place around 8:05 AM, near the Macdonald Avenue off-ramp. First responders arrived to the area shortly after.
 
To begin, two vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. A black Subaru sedan was found on its roof upon officers arrival. The Subaru allegedly collided with a silver sedan for unknown reasons.
 
The paramedics recorded that the involved victims sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the impact. However, there have been no updates on their current condition.
 
Moreover, a SigAlert was also issued consequently closing the first two lanes of the freeway while fire officials worked to clear the area. However, the area has since reopened.
 
An investigation is still currently ongoing to determine liabilities. Furthermore, no additional information has been released to the public at this time, as the investigation continues.
