Lanes Closed after Multi-Car Collision near Highway 905
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 12, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a rollover car crash on southbound 5 Freeway, late Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:13 PM, near the southbound Highway 905 connector. Based on an initial report, one vehicle overturned after colliding with a possible truck and two sedans.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were people who got hurt in the incident. The victims’ conditions were not yet released.
A post was damaged due to the commotion. SigAlert was issued to close the lanes while rescue, clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, as it remains under investigation by the Santa Barbara Police Department.
