Injuries Reported in Piru Multi-Vehicle Accident
PIRU, CA (May 20, 2019) – An unknown number of people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 126 on April 16.
CHP revealed that the collision occurred just after 12:15 p.m. on Highway 126 at Honey Lane. The crash involved at least a white minivan, a silver sport utility vehicle, and a tan Toyota Camry. According to the patrol, a fourth vehicle may have been involved.
Meanwhile, authorities blocked the westbound lanes and debris were scattered over a wide area.
Furthermore, the Ventura County Fire Department revealed that they requested one ambulance and a helicopter at the scene.
During the collision, the road is still wet across much of the county following a storm passed through, leaving almost an inch of rain on some areas.
