Reckless Driving Leads to Collision near Highway 12

SANTA ROSA, CA (October 22, 2018) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 in the southbound, early Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 8:17 AM at Highway 12 connector.

Reports show that the authorities recovered at least four vehicles at the scene. The parties were identified as a white sedan, a gray SUV, a sedan and a green Mini Cooper. It was not yet clear what incident led to the pile-up. Medics arrived at the scene to assist victims with injuries. One occupant of the white sedan was injured and was treated on site. There is no update on his current medical condition.

A Sig Alert was issued closing all lanes that were affected by the commotion. A clearing operation was ordered in the area by fire officials.
