Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Andrade Road
SUNOL, CA (November 17, 2018) – On Saturday afternoon, injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on 680 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 2:57 PM on the northbound lanes of the highway, just south of Andrade Road. The authorities recovered a total of four vehicles at the scene. The parties were identified as a maroon Toyota Highlander, a black Audi, a gray Toyota and a silver Mazda. The circumstance that led to the pile-up was not yet known.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They recorded injuries sustained by the involved motorists. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
Following the incident, lane number 2 and 3 were closed while a clearing operation was performed in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
