Injuries Reported in Federal Way Multi-Vehicle Crash
FEDERAL WAY, WA (March 4, 2020) – An unknown number of parties sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway on March 3.
This multi-vehicle crash occurred northbound of the 5 Freeway in Federal Way. It also stalled traffic during the morning commute.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson revealed that the collision involved seven vehicles and took place near S 320th Street.
As a result, there was a 7-mile long backup at 5:45 a.m., confirmed the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision initially blocked three left lanes when the authorities received a report about it around 5:10 a.m. However, Johnson said that by 6:20 a.m., the crash scene was cleared.
The South King Fire noted that there are injuries in the crash.
The cause of the collision is still unknown as of this time.
