Lanes Closed after Four Vehicles Crash near Skaggs Island Road
SOLANO COUNTY, CA (March 20, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on eastbound Highway 37, Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at 6:28 PM, just east of Skaggs Island Road. Based on an initial report, four vehicles were involved in the accident. The parties were identified as a semi-truck, a white Honda 4D, a Mazda sedan and an overturned Ford.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. Based on an assessment, there were injuries sustained in the pile-up. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
All lanes were temporarily blocked while rescue, clearing, and cleaning were conducted in the area.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. Additional information will be disclosed to the public once it becomes available.
