Five Vehicles Involved in Multi-Car Crash on 91 Freeway

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (October 20, 2019) – Injuries sustained in a multi-car crash on 91 Freeway westbound on late Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 8:30 PM just east of La Sierra Avenue. Based on a report, five vehicles became involved in the incident. One of the cars drove recklessly prior to the pile-up.
 
The paramedics arrived for rescue. After that, they recorded non-life-threatening injuries sustained by the involved motorists.
 
The HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes closed while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
 
No other details were released by the authorities. An investigation is still on-going to determine the cause of the commotion.
