Lanes Closed after Multi-Car Collision near Crenshaw Boulevard
TORRANCE, CA (February 7, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on northbound 405 Freeway, Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:00 AM, just north of Crenshaw Boulevard. Based on their report, four vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a black Chevrolet Camaro, a gray Acura MDX, and two cars. One vehicle overturned multiple times during the incident.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They reported possible injuries sustained by the involved motorists, but there were no o specific details released regarding it.
The pile-up closed the HOV, No. 1 and No. 2 lanes. Clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. Additional information will be released once it becomes available, as the cause of the accident still remains under investigation at this time.
