Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near California Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 6, 2019) – Injuries sustained in multi-car crash on southbound Highway 99, early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:45 AM. Based on an initial report, there were three vehicles involved in the pile-up. In addition, police are not sure what lead to the accident.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. In addition, officials confirmed that people suffered injuries in the incident. Fortunately, the victims’ conditions were not life-threatening.
The No. 1 and 2 lanes were temporarily blocked due to the commotion. However, towing services were requested for a clearing operation in the area.
An investigation is ongoing to verify all initial information and determine liabilities. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
