Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Marina Vista Road
MARTINEZ, CA (March 3, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on southbound 680 Freeway, Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:41 PM, just south of Marina Vista Road. Based on an initial report, four vehicles were involved in the pile-up. The parties were identified as a black Chrysler, a Mercedes-Benz, a Toyota Sienna and an unknown car.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were involved motorists who got hurt in the accident. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
Several attenuators were destroyed due to impact. Towing services were requested for a clearing operation in the area. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, and additional information will be disclosed to the public, once it becomes available.
