Two Vehicles Involved in Crash on Highway 60
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA (June 16, 2019) – People sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on westbound Highway 60, Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place near Santa Anita Boulevard around 8:48 PM. Based on an initial report, silver Mercedes GLA-Class and a silver Toyota Camry involved in the accident.
The police knew a driver unlawfully took one of the vehicles after the commotion. As a result, police classified the case as a hit-and-run collision.
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They recorded minor injuries sustained by the involved motorists.
The No. 1 and 2 lanes closed while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area. Details regarding the cause of the accident were not yet released.
