FRESNO, CA (July 18, 2020) – Thursday night, a hit-and-run crash on Elm Avenue in southwest Fresno resulted in injuries.
 
The CHP officers revealed that at about 9:30 p.m., they stopped a Black BMW for reckless driving. However, the vehicle and a high-speed pursuit started.
 
The squad car managed to drive just half a mile behind when the BMW collided with another vehicle on Elm Avenue and Jensen Avenue.
 
According to officers, the driver traveled at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour. Afterward, the driver went out of the vehicle and headed toward the Sandstone Apartments.
 
The authorities failed to find the suspect, whose description remains unavailable at this time.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the victims of the hit-and-run crash to the hospital with minor injuries.
