Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Highway 138
PHELAN, CA (January 26, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a hit-and-run crash on northbound 15 Freeway, Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:21 PM, just north of Highway 138. Based on their report, three vehicles, including a big rig and another truck, were involved in the incident. One party left the scene after the collision.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. The injured victims were flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The No. 1 and 2 lanes closed while the authorities continued to conduct a clearing operation in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. The authorities are also working to identify and locate the hit-and-run motorist. Additional information has yet to be released.
