San Francisco Fiery Crash on 280 Freeway
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 9, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a fiery crash on 280 Freeway southbound on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened under the Geneva Avenue on-ramp at approximately 8:47 AM.
Based on a report, only one vehicle is involved in the accident. Fire and flames came from the rear part of the car.
The paramedics had confirmed that one person suffered injuries in the incident. However, the victim’s condition is said to be minor.
Fire officials closed the overpass and Nos. 3, 4, and 5 lanes while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
