Three Vehicles Involved in DUI Collision near Mission Boulevard

 
ESCONDIDO, CA (February 9, 2019) – People sustained injuries in a DUI crash on 15 Freeway, near the intersection of Mission Boulevard, Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:32 PM, near the intersection of Mission Boulevard. Based on their report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. One car was seen reckless driving prior to the pile-up. It had been known that the car’s driver was driving under the influence at the time of the accident.
 
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that that there were injuries sustained by the involved motorists. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
 
At least eight feet of the guardrail were damaged due to collision impact. A clearing operation took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to verify all initial information and determine the cause of the accident. No other information has been disclosed to the public, as the investigation is ongoing.
