Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near Highway 70

 
CHILCOOT, CA (February 7, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a crash on southbound Highway 395, Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:39 PM, just north of Highway 70. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a truck owned by Sherman-Williams and another semi-truck.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were injuries sustained in the incident. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
 
Debris was scattered in the roadway closing the northbound lanes. A clearing operation then took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
