Vehicles Damaged in Collision near Summit Road
LOS GATOS, CA (January 20, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a crash on northbound Highway 17, Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 8:18 PM, just south of Mountain Charlie Road. Their report showed there were two vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a Ford sedan and a gray Lexus SUV.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were injuries sustained by the involved motorists. Fortunately, the victims’ conditions were not life-threatening.
Both the sedan and SUV acquired moderate damages in the incident. All lanes were closed before the clearing operations conducted by the authorities. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
