Injuries Sustained in Car Crash on Highway 101 [East Palo Alto, CA]

Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near University Avenue

 
EAST PALO ALTO, CA (January 11, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a car crash on northbound Highway 101, Friday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:27 PM, just south of University Avenue. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. Vehicle descriptions were not yet released as of report time.
 
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were victims who needed treatment of unknown injuries at the scene. Fortunately, the conditions of the victims were not life-threatening.
 
The vehicles were seen with major collision damages. All lanes were closed while rescue, clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. Additional information has yet to be released.
