Two Injured after Menifee Collision
MENIFEE, CA (January 16, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon, two people were injured in a car crash on Antelope Road. The identities of the occupants have not yet been released to the public.
According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 4:15 PM near Stillwater Drive in front of the Menifee Town Center.
As per reports, officials were alerted about a male driving a stolen truck. They spotted him traveling on Durham Drive and attempted to pull him over, but the man drove away. Authorities were pursuing him when he crashed into a vehicle.
First responders arrived at the scene and stated the driver of the second vehicle suffered injuries. It is unclear if he was treated on the scene or transported to the hospital.
The suspect was transported to the hospital, due to being bitten by a sheriff’s K-9. There has been no further information regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
