Two Vehicles Involved in Car Crash on 91 Freeway

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 26, 2019) – A victim sustained injuries in a westbound car crash on 91 Freeway, Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 1:09 PM, near the Tyler Street intersection. Based on an initial report, two vehicles were involved in the incident. In addition, police identified the involved vehicles as a gray sedan and a dark green Honda HRV.
 
Emergency services rescued two adults and a 10-year-old girl from the Honda. In addition, the paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They sent the victims to Riverside Community Hospital for observation and treatment of minor injuries.
 
The authorities closed the right lanes while fire officials managed the traffic situation in the area. After the accident, a cleaning crew came to clear the debris. An investigation is ongoing to identify the manner and the cause of the accident. However, no further details have been made available.
