Five Vehicles Involved in Crash on 15 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 27, 2019) – People sustained injuries in a multi-car crash on southbound 15 Freeway, Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place near Rancho Bernardo Road. It happened at approximately 7:17 AM. Based on an initial report, five vehicles involved in the incident. However, the pile-up happened after a Chevrolet Silverado was struck by a gray sedan. In addition, the three other cars behind the two others got involved in the commotion.
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. As a result, they reported that the involved motorists sustained minor injuries.
All vehicles moved to the right lane as part of the clearing operation conducted in the area.
Police did not release any other information regarding the accident. An investigation is still on-going to determine the cause of the commotion.
