MURRIETA, CA (June 13, 2019) – Injuries are possibly sustained in a car collision on 15 Freeway on June 10.
 
The incident occurred on the northbound side of the freeway, near the 15 Freeway/215 Freeway split, around 11:40 a.m.
 
According to preliminary reports, a white Mustang and a semi truck collided for unknown reasons. The wreckage shut down the number two and three lanes and fuel leaked onto the roadway.
 
It is unclear whether someone suffered injuries in the collision.
 
Due to the crash, a major backup occurred on the 15 Freeway. Authorities issued a sig alert at 12:10 p.m. However, at 2:00 p.m., the alert had been lifted.
