Injuries Reported after Oakland Car Accident
OAKLAND, CA (August 7, 2019) – A car accident left people with injuries in a car accident on 580 Freeway on August 6.
According to reports, a motor home rolled over in a crash that blocked several lanes in 580 Freeway for hours. The CHP revealed that an RV pulling a trailer collided with another vehicle after 5:00 a.m. on the eastbound 580 Freeway near Edwards Avenue exit.
According to police, the crash caused injuries and shut down three lanes since the RV scattered debris took up three lanes.
The right-hand lane remained open for traffic.
Meanwhile, the traffic moving in the reverse commute direction slowed down to the Fruitvale neighborhood in Oakland.
The CHP then reopened all lanes about 10:20 a.m.
