DAVIS, CA (August 15, 2019) – An unknown number of people sustained injuries in an accident on 80 Freeway on August 13.
 
The incident involving an RV and a tomato truck occurred after 11:00 p.m. on eastbound 80 Freeway near Mace Boulevard.
 
The collision shut down the lanes for almost four hours while crews remove the spilled tomatoes and debris.
 
All lanes have since reopened. The incident left people with injuries. However, the extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
 
Police did not release any additional information regarding the accident at this time.
