Lanes Closed after Collision near 710 Freeway
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (February 18, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a 2-car crash on westbound Highway 60, Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:51 PM, just west of 710 Freeway. Based on their report, a white vehicle and a brown vehicle were involved in the incident. The manner of the accident was not stated in the report, but it showed that one of the vehicles was seen swerving in and out of lanes prior to the crash.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had confirmed that there were motorists who suffered injuries due to impact. Fortunately, all conditions were non-life-threatening.
The No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes were closed while a clearing operation was performed in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine liabilities. Additional information will be released once it becomes available, as the accident is still under investigation.
