Traffic Delayed in Oroville Multi-Vehicle Accident on Ophir Road and Feather River Boulevard

OROVILLE, CA (February 25, 2024) – On Friday, authorities reported injuries in a startling three-vehicle crash on Ophir Road and Feather River Boulevard.

The incident happened on Ophir Road and Feather River Boulevard, near Power House Hill Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound pickup truck crossed Ophir Road and collided with a westbound SUV. Then, the force of the crash pushed the two vehicles to spin out of control and crashed into a vehicle attempting to turn eastbound onto Ophir Road from southbound Feather River Boulevard.

Moreover, officers confirmed that occupants of the SUV sustained minor injuries in the crash and were transported to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
