Lanes Blocked in Fresno Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 140 and Hornitos Road

FRESNO, CA (June 12, 2024) – On Monday, a startling multi-vehicle crash on Highway 140 and Hornitos Road led to injuries.

The incident happened on Highway 140 and Hornitos Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2005 Toyota Sienna collided with a Subaru Outback that drove onto the path of the Sienna. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Sienna to crash into a 2023 Peterbilt that was stopped at the intersection.

Moreover, responders airlifted the occupants of the Sienna and the Subaru to Community Regional Medical Center Fresno with major injuries.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
