Poulsbo, WA (February 08, 2022) – On Monday, the paramedics responded to injuries in a school bus crash vs utility truck crash on Northwest Half Mile Road.

It was about  3:15 p.m. when the collision happened in the 3500 block area.

Officers said a school rear-ended a tree service utility truck.

As a result of the crash, the bus’s driver was trapped in the driver’s seat.

Luckily, the three students on the bus were able to get out of the vehicle through an emergency exit.

The paramedics evaluated the students as a precaution and released them to their parents and guardians. 

Moreover, the worker in the tree service truck was ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics rushed the worker to the hospital with minor injuries. 

Similarly, the emergency rescuers rushed the bus driver to the hospital with serious injuries.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash on Northwest Half Mile Road.
