Avondale, AZ (April 30, 2021) – Early Friday morning, DPS investigates a reported injury wrong-way crash in the area of 99th Avenue.
 
The Avondale crash happened at around 1:30 a.m; on April 30.
 
According to DPS reports, witnesses called 911 and reported a driver heading south in the northbound lanes of the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway in Glendale Avenue.
 
Moreover, the driver continued eastbound Interstate 10 and crashed into another vehicle in the area of 99th Avenue.
 
Investigators said there are confirmed injuries, but the extent is still unknown.
