At Least One Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Accident

SACRAMENTO, CA (December 10, 2018) – A three-car crash was reported around 2:15 a.m. on westbound 80 Freeway on Sunday, December 9.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, a red Pontiac Sunfire crashed into the center divider of 80 Freeway near Raley Boulevard off-ramp and overturned. Then two other vehicles, described as a green Toyota Camry and a red Chevrolet Silverado, collided into the overturned vehicle.

Paramedics responded to the area and reported that minor injuries were sustained in the collision.

All of the vehicles involved suffered major front-end damages.

All lanes except No. 1 lane was shut down because of the incident. Tow services responded to clear the area. The roadway was cleared at about 3:12 a.m.

Authorities are still investigating the collision.
