Injuries Reported in Deadly Single-Car Crash on Laws Road [Farmington, MO]

Fatal Crash in St. Francois County Claims One Life, Injures Three

Farmington, MO (November 26, 2024) On Sunday morning, 3 people were hurt in a tragic single-car crash on Laws Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the fatal crash happened at about 1:40 a.m. near Back Creek.

Reports say that the tragic overnight crash in rural St. Francois County left one person dead and three others injured.

Authorities say that a 2007 Scion TC carrying four adults, ages 18 to 20, veered off Laws Road near Back Creek and collided with a tree. The 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene by 2 a.m.

The three passengers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The crash report revealed that neither the driver nor a 19-year-old male passenger was wearing a seatbelt. It remains unclear if the other passengers were buckled in.
