School BUs Involved in Highway 2 Vehicle Crash

Spokane, WA (September 13, 2024) – Injuries have been reported following a school bus crash on Highway 2 Wednesday afternoon.

WSP officers said a school bus with four children onboard was traveling north on Highway 2 when it attempted to turn left onto Colbert Road.

However, while turning, the bus stalled and a white car was unable to avoid the bus. The car crashed into the bus and pushed it into a dump truck next to a nearby stop sign. 

Luckily, only minor injuries have been reported while the car driver sustained a broken finger in the crash. 

Meanwhile, another bus picked up the students who were riding the bus that was involved collision. 

The authorities are investigating the school bus crash on Highway 2.
