2 Injured in Thurston County DUI Accident on US 101 and Kennedy Creek

 
THURSTON COUNTY, WA (August 10, 2021) – Sunday night, a rollover crash on US 101 and Kennedy Creek led to injuries.
 
According to reports, a 29-year-old Astoria, Oregon driver drove a 2001 Ford Explorer. He headed north on US 101 at Kennedy Creek with his juvenile passenger.
 
Then, the man veered off the road to the right, where the SUV overturned and hit a tree. Then, it stopped on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
 
As a result, responders took both the man and his passenger to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
 
Meanwhile, troopers confirmed that the driver faces possible charges of driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, and driving with a suspended license.
 
About 10:40 p.m. Sunday, the man was headed north on U.S. 101 at Kennedy Creek in a 2001 Ford Explorer. Troopers say the man drifted off the road to the right, where the SUV rolled and struck a tree, then came to a stop on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
 
Both the man and his passenger were taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
