TRINITY COUNTY, CA (July 11, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a rollover crash on Highway 3 near Hayfork hurt two people.
 
According to reports, the incident involving a vehicle that had overturned happened at around 12:20 p.m. The crash occurred on Highway 3, north of Hayfork and South of Douglas City.
 
The Trinity County Sheriff’s deputy revealed that the overturned vehicle has two occupants. One of them sustained “lacerations to the head” and the other one remained stuck inside the wreckage.
 
By 1:30 p.m., the crash blocked both lanes of Highway 3. Meanwhile, a helicopter responded to the two occupants. One of them was listed in critical condition. Hence, the helicopter transported them to an out-of-the-area hospital.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
