Injuries Sustained in Kennewick Auto Accident on 4th Avenue and Edison Street

 
KENNEWICK, WA (June 22, 2021) – Monday morning, authorities reported injuries after a rollover crash on 4th Avenue and Edison Street.
 
According to the Kennewick Police Department, the driver of an eastbound vehicle was blinded by the sun. Thus, the driver failed to yield to a red light and struck another vehicle.
 
Furthermore, one of the involved vehicles struck and damaged a traffic light control box. Also, traffic lights at 4th Avenue and Edison Street stopped working after the incident.
 
Meanwhile, officials released no further details about the injuries in the crash.
 
The incident is under investigation.
