Santa Barbara Auto Crash on Highway 154

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (September 7, 2020) – Sunday afternoon, injuries were reported in a rollover accident on Highway 154.
 
The incident happened at about 4:26 p.m. on Highway 154, north of San Antonio Creek Road.
 
Reports from the CHP revealed that the crash was between a white GMC Yukon and a Dodge Durango. Then, the Durango overturned and landed on its side. Meanwhile, the GMC suffered major front-end damage.
 
The crash blocked several eastbound lanes of the highway. At this time, the authorities haven’t provided an estimate of the time when the lanes will reopen.
 
On the other hand, the CHP revealed that several passersby stopped to aid victims out of the wreckage. However, the CHP hasn’t confirmed the number of parties injured in the crash. The CHP confirmed that the injuries were only minor.
 
Moreover, the CHP dispatched tow trucks to the crash scene.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
