Carjacker Arrested after Multiple Crash on NE 124th Street in Kirkland

Kirkland, WA (December 14, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in multiple crashes on NE 124th Street and 124th Ave. NE involving a carjacker. 

The crash in Kirkland happened just before 3 p.m. on December 14.

Kirkland Police said a suspect allegedly stole a vehicle from a local car dealership, crashed that vehicle into other cars, and carjacked a minivan. 

Reportedly, the suspect carjacked a minivan, leaving the driver injured. 

Officers then pursued the suspect onto the northbound I-405 into Bothell as he fled in the stolen minivan. 

While being pursued, the suspect turned onto Bothell Everett Highway and struck another vehicle, leaving the other driver with minor injuries.

The suspect kept going until police were able to stop him in a parking lot of a store.

No other information is immediately available.
