Injuries Sustained in Santa Maria Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101
SANTA MARIA, CA (June 25, 2019) – An unknown number of people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 on June 22.
The CHP received reports of the collision at around 5:15 am near the Donovan Road off-ramp. The initial reports revealed that a vehicle veered before crashing into another vehicle. The incident involved as many as five to six vehicles.
The traffic at Donovan Road was diverted. In addition, Caltrans came to help with the highway closure.
An unknown number of people suffered major injuries.
The Donovan Road remained close by 7:30 a..m. At 7:55 a.m., Highway 101 near Donovan Road re-opened. Police did not release any other information regarding the accident at this time.
